Personal and Social Development Training Courses
Personal and social development - Courses are available to young people via our 16-18 Headstart Programme.
As part of the course you will explore a range of important subject areas such as;
• Health and Nutrition
• Drug and Alcohol Awareness
• Community Awareness
• Sexual Health awareness
• Independent Living Skills
• Team-Working, etc….
These subjects cover a wide base of essential skills for independent living, employment and improving your prospects and progression opportunities.
You will be guided through your course by qualified tutors and assessors who will support you in your learning and advise you of onward progression opportunities.
Must be aged 16 to 18
Education, Health & Care Plan
At Nova training we aim to provide training and education for all who can benefit from it, including those with Education, Health & Care Plan. Nova Training believes that all people are of equal value and seeks to promote positive attitudes towards diversity and to eliminate discrimination.
An EHCP replaces Statements of special educational needs (SSEN) and Learning Difficulties Assessments for children and young people with special educational needs.
