Employability Skills Courses
Employability Skills Courses are available to young people via our 16-18 Headstart Programme.
As part of the course you will explore a range of vocational taster sessions to enable you to determine the best career choice for you. You will also develop key employability skills such as interview techniques, effective CV writing, telephone techniques, etc.
You will be guided through your course by qualified tutors and assessors who will support you in your learning and advise you of onward progression opportunities.
Employability Skills courses are part of the Headstart 16-18 Steps Towards Enabling Progression qualification and are accredited by NOCN. These qualifications are available at Entry Level 3 and Level 1. Further progression may be to a higher level qualification, Apprenticeship or Employment..
Education, Health & Care Plan
At Nova training we aim to provide training and education for all who can benefit from it, including those with Education, Health & Care Plan. Nova Training believes that all people are of equal value and seeks to promote positive attitudes towards diversity and to eliminate discrimination.
An EHCP replaces Statements of special educational needs (SSEN) and Learning Difficulties Assessments for children and young people with special educational needs.
