Maths Training Courses
Maths courses are available to young people via our 16-18 Headstart Programme.
In addition to this Nova’s Headstart programme can also help you with the following;

• Confidence building and teamwork skills
• Work experience placements
As part of the course you will undertake a Functional Skills qualification in Maths, which will equip you with the practical use of Maths in everyday life, education and the work place. Functional Skills are a mandatory part of Apprenticeships and are seen as a key qualification by employers.
You will be guided through your course by qualified tutors and assessors who will support you in your learning and advise you of onward progression opportunities.
Maths courses are accredited by City and Guilds and are offered at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2.
Must be aged 16 to 18
Further progression may be to a higher level qualification and Functional Skills are a mandatory part of Apprenticeships alongside being seen as a key qualification by employers.
